At Bethel, our weekly worship gatherings are an expression of who we are as a diverse community of faith. Our music styles are varied. You will hear the music of our 15-Rank Moller pipe organ, our worship Ensemble, sacred choral anthems, timeless hymns of the faith, blended with energized, or meditative worship songs of the church today.
On October 29th 2023 Shenandoah University’s HARAMBEE GOSPEL CHOIR joined the Bethel Worship Choir and Band to celebrate the Dedication of our newly remodeled Sanctuary.
On September 24th 2023 we hosted the “Organ Plus” Concert with the Winchester Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, featuring organists Marilyn Shenenberger and Terry Sisk with the Bethel Worship Choir and Band. Special guests included Vicki Edwards and John & Charlene Roman.

From the first note of our opening gathering music to the sending hymn of the day, our Ensemble is the primary music leader for our worship, engaging our congregation in praise.
The Ensemble is a very committed group of singers ranging from high school age through adults. This non-auditioned group is open to anyone with a heart for singing and music leadership. Rehearsals are weekly on Thursdays from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. This ensemble sings most Sundays in worship and for special worship gatherings throughout the year. We are often called upon for music leadership beyond our own church gatherings at synod and conference events such as “Power in the Spirit” and the Virginia Synod Assembly.
Our children’s choirs give our elementary school students an opportunity to serve their church, and a chance to minister through music. When children sing scripture, they remember it for a lifetime. Our children’s choirs meet periodically to plan for and minister during special worship gatherings throughout the school year.
